Jeffrey A. Meckler, D.D.S. – Endodontist

Dr. Meckler received his Dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1990. He spent six years practicing general dentistry in Northern California. Dr Meckler completed a two year hospital residency at the V.A. Medical Center in Long Beach, California where he received his specialty degree in Endodontics in 1998. Dr.Meckler has been in Monterey since 1998 limiting his practice exclusively to endodontics.

Dr. Meckler is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. In April, 2012, Dr. Meckler became the first endodontist on the Monterey Peninsula to complete the rigorous process that included his education, knowledge, skills and ability to apply new research and advances to the practice of endodontics. The Board Certification process is a several year commitment that requires continued dedication and commitment to the field of endodontics.

Dr. Meckler has had extensive training in advanced microsurgical techniques in Endodontics. He is currently the past President of the California State Association of Endodontists. He has been a mentor for the College of Diplomates since 2012. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the California State Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Monterey Bay Dental Society. He is also an active member of International Health Emissaries, where he travels to third world countries to provide free dental care to needy children.

Dr. Meckler is married and has a son. He enjoys playing the drums and outdoor activities including snow skiing, scuba diving, tennis, biking, and fishing.
